  What is the difference between mapping a domain to WordPress and redirecting the domain to WordPress URL

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Mapping is the proper way to do it. If you just use a redirect at your domain registrar, the URL will not display properly.

  I am a Lebanese resident and Lebanese Credit/Debit cards aren’t supported as well as PayPal in my country.
  Is there a work around I can do for this purpose?

  I understand how that would be frustrating. However, our banking provider dictates what countries they will process payments from.

  You have two options:

  1. You could have a friend from another country purchase the upgrade for you.

  or

  2. You could use bitcoin: http://en.support.wordpress.com/bitcoin/

  However, with bitcoin, you would need to purchase the WordPress.com Premium bundle. It is not possible to just buy the domain mapping with bitcoin.
