domain mapping and zone registration
-
I have mapped my blog to a new domain name http://neighbourhoodnetworkhull.co.uk following the instructions here http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/ . It is not working yet. I think I need WordPress to add a Zone Record on the wordpress.com servers. I have got message that the support team is in St Louis until Aug 15th. Can anyone help?
ThanksThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Staff are out, but they are monitoring the forums so I’ll tag this thread for their attention so that they can get the zone record set for you.

Please can you check if it *is* the zone record registration that needs to be done to make it work? The site has been intermittently displaying since I mapped the new domain 3 days ago, but is now just showing the domain registration site (123.reg) with this – http://81.21.76.62/neighbourhoodnetworkhull.co.uk/index.html – in the address bar.

http://neighbourhoodnetworkhull.co.uk/ appears to be working properly.
It can take domain changes up to 72 hours (though usually much less) to propagate to your ISP. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your ISP refreshes their DNS cache.

Ok thanks, but still not seeing it here – although it is over 72 hours, so it should have propogated by now. Does the Zone Record still need to be done?

Your zone record was set when you mapped it, and it is working properly.
Please try clearing your DNS cache: http://www.opendns.com/support/article/68
