Domain mapping, appearance/theme account

I have a Premium account which includes all features, but I cannot upload customized theme. I planned to maintain my Go Daddy account, then map over to my .wordpress.com account. I am thinking it is because I have the pemccollc.wordpress.com, but I have hosting at Go Daddy. I do not get any message in dashboard allowing me to Install theme. Just a yellow box at top saying “A free domain was included in the purchase of your WordPress.com Bundle. Get that domain for your site now!” –
    – My intention was to edit, do everything with and map from Go Daddy – can you provide insight? – Thank you very much ahead of time.

    I’m sorry, but themes can’t be uploaded to WordPress.com. That’s a feature of self-hosted blogs through WordPress.org.

You may use any of the available themes we have under Appearance > Themes in your dashboard, and you may want to look into purchasing the Custom Design Upgrade to customize one of the themes we offer.
