Domain Mapping… basic question. Thanks!

    Ok, so I am very bad with technical aspects of this (and most) sites, so I am sorry if I just failed to understand the FAQ correctly.

    I am currently blogging at dudesofleestreet.wordpress.com, and my overall goal is to make dudesofleestreet.com the primary site. I purchased the domain name and a year of mapping ($15 total) and now dudesofleestreet.com redirects you to the blog, but isn’t the primary URL of the blog. I tried switching it, but when I did the blog as a whole became unavailable, and would not load.

    Am I missing something?
