Domain mapping – cancellation
-
Hello!
I bought a domain for my website (tribecalledrest.com) and used domain mapping to map this domain (tribecalledrest.wordpress.com). However, I decided to cancel my premium plan and use wordpress.org instead. So I cancelled the premium package and the domain mapping. But now I cannot type in the adress tribecalledrest.wordpress.com because it still gets redirect to tribecalledrest.com. I also get this note:
Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.
Can somebody perhaps explain to me what I have to do the stop the incorrect domain mapping? Because I already changes the primary domain back to the wordpress.com version. Thank you so much!
With kind regards,

Hello @tribecalledrest
https://tribecalledrest.wordpress.com/ no longer redirects to http://tribecalledrest.com/ from my location. Also, http://tribecalledrest.com/ is no longer mapped to your wordpress.com site/blog as it is using the following nameserver valuesL
ns3.firstfind.nl
ns4.firstfind.nl
ns5.firstfind.nethttp://tribecalledrest.com/ not points to a yourhosting.nl site probably because there is not site parked under that domain now.
If you still see the domain mapping warning, please clear your browsers cache and cookies and check again.
Let us know if these help 🙂
