Domain Mapping Confusion

    Hello Internet,

    I just paid for domain mapping with the goal of having the blog appear when I type in danceumbrella.net

    However, it seems to direct me to our old website. I am unsure how to correct this. The idea was to simply redirect the URL so that the old website would be inaccessible. I have actually achieved the opposite effect.

    Any ideas?

    It can take up to 24 hours and sometimes more for the DNS change to propagate through all the internet nameservers. How soon you will see your blog behind the new URL depends on how often your ISP updates their nameservers.

    I’m seeing your blog under the new domain name so the propagation is underway. Give it a while and before checking, clear your browser cache and then take a look.
