Domain Mapping(?) confusion
-
I recently recreated my website because I somehow deleted my old one and wasn’t able to recover it (different story for a different time). I have my new site up and running accessible with two domains (my old and new so past and current clients will be redirected to my new site) but when I search it on my laptop it takes me to the incorrect site but on my phone and pc it takes me to the correct place. I’m just trying to figure out why it’s doing this because on my laptop I’m not able to go directly to my website using the address bar like I’d like, I have to follow a link I’ve posted elsewhere or go to “visit site” when in WP editor/customizer. I’m not sure if it’s a mapping issue?
To clarify:
>Old domain- katcophotography.com (that I want to still use mapped to my new site)
>New domain- katcaraway.com
>When using laptop, typing either of these in the address bar take me to the site on katcaraway.wordpress.com
>When using any other device it takes me to the correct site. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Did you recently change the domains’ name servers?
When a domain is registered or altered, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain name is passed to internet service providers all over the world. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, your domain may go to its old location, and you may also receive a warning message in your browser about “redirect errors.”
If you still have trouble viewing the site after 24 hours have passed, please try clearing your browser’s cache: https://www.refreshyourcache.com/
If that doesn’t work, try clearing your local DNS cache: https://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html
