Domain Mapping & Custom CSS
-
Hi there,
I recently migrated my site from WordPress.com to WordPress.org, and it went flawlessly. Recently, however, I’ve received two emails from WordPress.org regarding requirements for me to upgrade my payment information in order to continue using Custom CSS and Domain Mapping. It’s my understanding that, since I’m on WordPress.org now, and hosting is handled through somewhere else, that I no longer need to pay for these services. However, I wanted to make sure that canceling them wouldn’t cause any unforeseen problems.
Could you please advise?

Hi Aubrey,
You’re all set for this site. As long as you’re hosted over on a WordPress.org site, you do not need either Custom Design or Domain Mapping. Let me know, and I can cancel them out of your account if you’d like (so you don’t get any more emails).
I did however notice that you DO have a domain which is actually registered here with us: aubreysitterson.com. That one you do want to pay attention to. If you don’t renew it, it will eventually expire and be returned to the general public. It’s not for a few more months, but still . . . I figured I should warn you!

Hi amightywp, and thanks for your response!
Yes, KingMaul.com is now hosted on a WordPress.org site, so if we could cancel out Custom Design and Domain Mapping that would be amazing.
And thanks for the heads-up on aubreysitterson.com – I’ll keep an eye on it!
Best,

OK, you’re all sorted! Those have been removed and while you may get an email notifying you about the deletions, that should be it as far as those go.
Hope you have a great week!
