Domain mapping: DNS records?

  I just purchased domain mapping for my blog – mapped to domain pithagora.com. My domain registrar’s control panel offers DNS record control. Should I specify an A record for pithagora.com and a CNAME for http://www.pithagora.com? If so, how should I specify their (IP) contents?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
