Domain mapping does not appear to work
-
I am trying to use cestlaviebakingco.com (which I own and host with webhostinghub.com) as my primary domain name. After following all the steps on your “Map an Existing Domain” page (including having webhostinghub update my nameservers), I am still not getting the outcome I expected. Rather than showing my new blog post, I am taken to my old site even if I type cestlaviebakingco.worpress.com into my browser.
My support person in HUB tells me that this could be because Worpress seems to have 6 different A records, only some of which point to wordpress. As such, his computer took him to the new site but none that I have used redirect to the wordpress page. Two A records appear to go to static.reverse.itdomain and 2 others go only to (.). You can find the visual dig that I’m working from here: http://www.webhostinghub.com/support/modules/mod_visual_dig/visual_dig.php?domain=cestlaviebakingco.com
Is this just how wordpress works? Do I have to wait longer?
I have also flushed my own dns and cleared my browser cache.
Any advice that you can give me would help a lot.
Thank you!

I am seeing http://cestlaviebakingco.com/ point correctly to your WordPress.com site.
It can take 24-48 hours for domain/DNS changes to propagate throughout the internet. It typically happens faster than that, but it really depends on your ISPs update frequency. If you are still not seeing the correct site appear after 48 hours has elapsed, please contact me again.
Also, do let me know if you have further questions or if anything is unclear.
