Domain mapping does not work: "…has not been registered yet"

  Hi

  I registerd a domain name kroupski.pro (more than 24 hours ago).
  It is OK, registrant’s support sees no problem on their side.
  DNS servers are set as needed: ns1.wordpress.com, etc.

  I want to use it for my blog kroupski.wordpress.com (premium plan).
  However, the domaing mapping procedure gives an error:
  “Sorry but kroupski.pro has not been registered yet therefore cannot be mapped.”

  From the forum thread I see that some “DNS zone file” (or smth like that) should be created in this case (manually by WP support??).

  If so – dear WP support, please check and fix the problem.
  Or are there any other suggestions from the community? :)

  Hi @dimitriorlov, ah, the lookup didn’t recognize your domain, but I was able to add it for you. Here’s how to finish up:

  – Point the domain to our name servers and give it a few hours to take effect:

  ns1.wordpress.com
  ns2.wordpress.com
  ns3.wordpress.com

  – Set the domain as primary under https://wordpress.com/my-domains
