domain mapping doesn't work?

    Though I am getting the following message from the domain helper, I still can’t see my site. Is it just the waiting time (Its been more than 48 hours) or there is something wrong? Please put me in the right direction.

    Hi there,
    you were right, there was something wrong with the mapping process. I have reset the mapping. I might take up to 72 hours (usually much less) before the changes take place. Please let me know if the problem still persists (by simply replying to this message) if the mapping still doesn’t work.

    I received a mail from you stating that “We at WordPress.com just wanted to let you know that we have set your new domain, facemindia.org.in, as the primary domain for your site, saranghills.wordpress.com.“

    I was trying to set this domain for facemindia.wordpress.com

    Is it not possible? If not, can I create a separate facemindia.wordpress.com and have the domain facemindia.org.in mapped to this blog?

    Gautham, I’m sorry that was my mistake. I have fixed it. The current mapping is from facemindia.org.in to facemindia.wordpress.com

    As to your second question: you can always transfer your upgrades from one blog to another. The process is pretty simple and is described here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#transferring-upgrades (you don’t need to do anything now, as I have already performed this for you).

    I ran the domain helper once again. It says :

    Oops, No Primary Site Set
    There is no primary domain set for saranghills.wordpress.com. This means that although facemindia.org.in will forward to the site, facemindia.org.in will appear in the browser address bar. To learn more about setting a primary domain, please see our documentation.

    I checked the blog again (facemindia.wordpress.com) and there the primary domain is given and it is facemindia.org.in

    Is it some kind of a cache issue? Or are there something more to be done?

    Hi Gautham.

    I’m happy everything works now as expected. I noticed that your site has a distinctive logo, but not an favicon. You may consider setting the site logo as a favicon using these instructions: http://en.support.wordpress.com/avatars/blavatars/

    Another thing,
    since the mapping product didn’t perform well, I added a $3 credit to your account. You will be able to use this credit in order to purchase any WordPress.com updates in the future.

    Are we having trouble again with the domain? Since yesterday, the site has been having some trouble loading. Could you please check? Also advice if there is something that we should from our side.

    At the time of writing your domain seems functioning correctly. I checked the internal records and they are correct too. Are you still experiencing this problem? Are you getting any error messages? If you do – what are they?
