domain mapping error
-
Today I upgraded to Premium and mapped a domain that I had and shut down the website that I had. I don’t know if my problem is with the mapping from WordPress or the other site but when I try to read my blog it goes to the old site, which is deleted and shows up as a static page from the old site that will remain but I can’t get to my blog here. The other site people FASO are saying that it might take up to 12 hrs. but it seems wrong and I wanted to know if there was something wrong on this end. I’m probably not making sense. Thanks! Doreen
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Doreen,
It looks like your domain: doreenelepore.com is not pointing to WordPress.com name servers. You can view the current name servers on this page:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/?host=doreenelepore.com
You’ll need to update the name servers with your domain registrar. This article explains how:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/
The name servers for WordPress.com are:
- NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
If you’re not sure how to change them, please contact your registrar for assistance.
Once you have updated the name servers, it may take up to 48 hours for the domain to be pointed to your WordPress.com site.

Thanks – those look like the name servers I gave them. Maybe I need to wait longer.
Thanks,
