domain mapping error
-
The domain mapping on my site, standewme.org has apparently expired. When I try to renew it, I get the error “Sorry, [domain name] is already mapped to a WordPress.com blog.”
On the “Add Mapping” page of the Domains section, I have typed
standewme.organd clicked “Add”, which results in the error message. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The domain, standewme.org, is not currently mapped to any WordPress.com site, and from what I can see it has never been mapped here before. Are you sure you were using that domain with a WordPress.com site?
If I type that domain on the Domains page it’s showing as available to register, which means that domain does not currently exist at all. If you want to use that domain with your WordPress.com site, go to My Site ->Domains ->Add and register it, not map it, as a new domain. You can register that domain for free as part of your Personal Plan.
