Domain mapping error
-
I set up a WordPress account and changed my GoDaddy domain DNS settings to use that domain on WordPress. I later decided to set up my blog on Wix so I deleted my WordPress account and changed the GoDaddy DNS settings for Wix. Now when I try to view the domain I get this error message which routes me back to the WordPress site: ‘Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain. ‘ all is good on GoDaddy’s end so how do I fix things at WordPress?

there has never been a domain mapping on your account so I’m not sure what domain are you referring to. There is probably some DNS record that still points to WordPress.com. If you can tell us the domain, we can have a look but you may need to contact GoDaddy directly, since we won’t be able to do any changes on your behalf.

The domain is theobserver.me. I checked with GoDaddy and the DNS settings are all correct and working to map to my Wix site. He could actually pull up the site in real time. I called Wix and they said all was good but the system was still processing everything and they suggested I check tomorrow. I just tried on my phone and it works. So I’m wondering if it’s a cookies issue on my laptop where I was doing all the work. Does that sound plausible? I will check the laptop tomorrow.

I can see your Wix site when visiting the domain and the DNS look good too. Try to clear the cache on the browser on your laptop, it should help :)
You can find here more information on how to clear the cache depending on your browser:
