Haven’t been able to get my head around this domain mapping stuff, anyway, mine expired, upgraded to a personal plan yesterday, the website still not visible.
I haven’t a clue what to do!

anyway, mine expired, upgraded to a personal plan yesterday, the website still not visible.
I haven’t a clue what to do!
I am adding modlook tag for staff intervention as they are the ones who can help you with the problem you are facing.
By the time they respond, may I request you to please confirm the username you use for logging the WordPress.com account that has the website facing this issue? Also, can you please confirm the website URL? Is it http://corkinterpreter.com/? This information will help the staff in offering quick solution to you.

In any case, yes, http://www.corkinterpeter.com is the address.

corkinterpreter.com isn’t working! Oh no!
“Cork Sign Language Interpreting” is not available at the domain corkinterpreter.com right now. The mapping for this domain expired, and it has to be renewed.Was a modlook tag ever added to this thread for staff assistance? I’m adding one now.

cormacleonard.However, as the domain has expired and they had reached out letting us know they no longer wish to own the domain mapping upgrade I have removed it from there account.
This allows you to register it as part of your recently purchased WordPress.com Personal plan. To buy the domain go to:

beginning to feel very very inept here:
clicked on the link above – I get a page offering 2 alternatives to the address I want (which is corkinterpreter.com) Or I can enter a name of my choice Or I can click Already own a domain?If I type in the name I want in the box, I get the message:

Hi @suzcarey, sorry for the trouble. Looks like some things were in flux with this domain’s ownership, but you should be able to register (not just map) the domain now.
Can you start here?
https://wordpress.com/domains/add/corkinterpreter.wordpress.comYou may be able to just click the checkout button to proceed, as I was testing to be sure this would work for you. If not:
Type corkinterpeter.com and you should be able to add the domain. You can choose contact info privacy (it’s included with your plan) and then enter the domain contact information. When you finish checking out, it will use the domain credit you have in place.
If that does not happen, let us know, but I did test your account to confirm it should work.
Also if you want to add screenshots, you can put them in wordpress.com/media and just update us here.

I just wanted to add as well, if you’re typing http://www.corkinterpeter.com and you’re being offered corkinterpeter.com — that’s fine. If you pick corkinterpeter.com then when you type http://www.corkinterpeter.com it will still show you the correct site.
