Domain mapping failed

The Domain Helper claims that my nameservers are not set to use wordpress. They are set are set properly and have been for years, and I have not even logged into my registrar for 6 months. Based on my view stats, this started on the 18th.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Oops, I meant started on the 13th (of October).

    Hi Adam!

This is strange. So, on our end it looks like there are no nameservers added, which goes against what your Whois states as seen here:

    https://who.wildwestdomains.com/whoisstd.aspx?domain=adamcoster.com&prog_id=wildwestdomains

However, as you mentioned, I am seeing that the info was updated on October 13th. Can you please log into your panel at your registrar just to check if the nameservers were removed/changed?

If it hasn’t please let me know and I will take a further look. I just want to make sure the nameservers are set to us beforehand.

    Thank you!

    Weird, right?

The nameserver list my registrar has have not been changed, and checking just now shows that they are:

    ns1.wordpress.com
    ns2.wordpress.com
    ns3.wordpress.com

So all should be in order.

    Hi Adam!

So my team looked into the domain and found that there looked to be some issues with the domain. Currently the status of the domain registration states this:

    Registrar Status clientHold, clientTransferProhibited, clientUpdateProhibited

You can read more about what that means here:

    Click to access epp-status-codes-30jun11-en.pdf

Here are the ones that pertain to your status:

clientHold: This status code tells your domain’s registry to not include your domain in the zone file!and as a consequence, it will not resolve. It is an uncommon status that is usually enacted during legal disputes, non payment, or when your domain is subject to deletion.

clientTransferProhibited: This status code tells your domain’s registry to reject requests to transfer the domain
from your current registrar to another.

clientUpdateProhibited: This status code tells your domain’s registry to reject requests to update the domain

Please contact your registrar: Domain.com regarding the status.

Also looking at the DNS Propagation check, it looks like it’s not going through as seen here:

    https://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/adamcoster.com

So, this looks to be an issue with the registrar. Can you try contacting their support team and let me know what they say?

    Thank you!

Got it sorted out, thanks! For some reason they suddenly needed domain ownership verification, but also decided I didn’t need to be informed of this… Anyway, it’s all cleared up.
