domain mapping for new site

  Hi, a domain name has been registered with tsohost but we have no site yet. If I keep the site with them then i need to pay a mapping fee to wordpress as well as the hosting fee is that right? and how much is the mapping fee for a personal site?

  Hi there,

  If your site is hosted with Tsohost it will have nothing at all to do with WordPress.com, and you wouldn’t pay us anything. In that case you’d be using the open source WordPress software made by the community on WordPress.org.

  You would only need a domain mapping upgrade if you wanted to host the site with us instead, and in that case you wouldn’t be paying any hosting fees to Tsohost, only the domain registration fee.
