Domain Mapping for SSL
-
I have a SSL certificate for https://www.chris-sawyer.com through Siteground, and I had WordPress map my site to ‘chris-cawyer.com’ However, now I am unable to use my HTTPS domain without getting a certificate error for ‘*.wordpress.com’
I can go to http://www.chris-sawyer.com with no issue, but that seems to defeat the purpose of the SSL. Does my domain need to be re-mapped to include the HTTPS address?
I am just looking to use the HTTPS address without getting a certificate error.
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

WordPress.com uses an SSL certificate to encrypt your connection. SSL certificates need to be signed to a specific domain, and WordPress.com can’t provide certificates for every mapped domain, so the certificate is signed for WordPress.com only.
