Domain mapping for subdomain

    Hello,

    I created a DNS record for subdomain on my web platform(bigcommerce) yesterday and it still has not completed. I paid for the subdomin mapping yesterday. This is the error message I receive on wordpress: The CNAME entry is not pointing to WordPress.com yet, if you recently updated them please check again in a few hours. How long does this take or is their an issue?

    How it appears in my DNS record:

    host type redirects to
    blog.cutebeltz.com CNAME cutebeltz.wordpress.com

    Hi there,

    I just did a DNS lookup for your subdomain blog.cutebeltz.com, and no response was received. It doesn’t appear that the DNS has been setup correctly yet over at your main hosts, bigcommerce.

    I would recommend logging in to your account there and verifying your settings. If everything appears correct, you may want to contact support with them to see what is causing the delay as external lookups for the CNAME “blog.cutebeltz.com” are coming up with no answer, which is an issue with their systems.
