Domain mapping form doesn’t recognise my URL

I want to use a domain name I own as the address for my wordpress.com blog. When I enter the address in the ‘Map and Existing Domain’ form it says the address “has not been registered yet therefore cannot be mapped”. The URL I want to use is registered under my name and ‘parked’ with Zuver. Any help would be much appreciated.

Is it a international Domain name?
