-
I am an API customer that needs to do the domain mapping on my blog. I want it to read “organicbliss.me” not organicblissdotme.wordpress.com. I purchased my domain from wordpress. What do I do?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You seem to have domain mapping in place but set to the wrong blog – see below
You can transfer the domain mapping to the correct blog by
Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades >> Mouse over the domain mapping and click on the “Transfer Upgrade” and follow the instructions and transfer the domain mapping to the correct blog – note – please be careful with the spelling
The staff can also do the transfer for you – I have already flagged this for staff attention – to make it easy for they staff – please request the mapping to be moved from what blog to what blog and the domain mapping name ( organicbliss.me ) that will help the staff do the transfer correctly the first visit
Note also you need to be logged in as the EXACT account / owner of the blog / Upgrades when you make the request
If you

Do you want domain mapping for organicbliss.me moved from organicblissdotme1.wordpress.com to organicblissdotme.wordpress.com/ ?
If you don’t see Domain Mapping – is there another account you might have used when you created the blogs and bought the original name organicbliss.me and the domain mapping?
You also need to log in with that account and ask the mapping to be moved – the staff can’t move anything unless they see the proper accounts asking for the move

Im so sorry but I really dont know what any of this means! I want organicbliss.me to be my MAIN site, the one I use and update and the one people will search for. How do I ask the staff also? I will try finding domain mapping now. THANK YOU so much!

this is what it says when I go to store>>my updgrades:
My Upgrades
You don’t currently have any active subscriptions on WordPress.com, If you would like to customize your sites look or feel, or add a custom domain, you should consider purchasing an upgrade in our StoreI also have only one account that I log in to – and when I go into it, the website is organicblissdotme.wordpress.com
I am so confused – haha
-
Hi there – The domain is owned by a different user account than the account you’re currently logged in with. Do you know what account that is?
Can you log out of your current user account and log back in as the user account that owns the domain, and then reply here? I can help you sort out the domain, but the request will need to come from that account.

I have a similar question. I have a blog named unreportedones.wordpress.com, as I upgraded, when I access the blog it changed to http://unreportedones.com. However now I would like to change to a new domain. I have bought “internationally.co” and I changed as the main domain in the domain mapping as explained above. But when I open the website, I still can see http://unreportedones.com. How can I change it? It is very confusing.

internationally.co – loads for me to an empty blog
Do you want
internationally.co is set as the primary domain for unreportedones.wordpress.com
If so you have the settings correct, take a long walk and have lunch , serious – it takes time for changes to migrate across the internet. You will probably be the last one to see the changes due to caching issues. You can clear your browser cache and force a page reload, that sometimes helps you to see the changes
Hold Your Horses!
It can take as long as 72 hours for DNS changes to become widely available. If you’re still not seeing your site loading at internationally.co, please wait a few more hours, clear your browser cache, and try again.

Thanks! When I changed it, I didn’t see any information anywhere about it taking some time to become available. Do we get any message about it taking 72 hours? It would be great if we did.
-
Im pretty sure this is the only account I have! I really have no clue though. What do I need to do to figure it out?
-
i just want the blog that I work on and share with people to be organicbliss.me not organicblissdotme.wordpress.com
-
Actually I have another question always related to the domain. So within 72 hour “unreportedones.wordpress.com” which is currently http://unreportedones.com. (it is not a empty blog, it is got a few test texts and pictures) will become “internationally.co”? Or it will become a brand new blog, completely empty? Is my subscription going to this blog, cause that is what I want?
I am sorry, it might sound obvious for you guys but it is really not for me!
Thanks -
I left a comment on “organicbliss.me” – it is in Moderation, depending on how the blog is configured the email for comment moderation usually go to the blog owner – that might help you with the account issue
-
@dbebassi – You have two blogs, each with a domain:
unreportedones.wordpress.com with domain internationally.co
internationallyco.wordpress.com with domain unreportedones.comDo you want me to switch those domains?
@runderwood06 – I’m sending you an email about this, so we can figure it out.
