Domain Mapping Help
-
OK, here’s my dilemma… Back in July I purchased a domain through WP and paid the $25 for registration, mapping, and privacy. I’m trying to figure out how to map the domain to where the address for each post is from chrisqueen.net rather than chrisqueen.wordpress.com. (eg. I’d like the address for a post to be http://chrisqueen.net/2011/07/22/a-bittersweet-week-for-our-space-program/ rather than http://chrisqueen.wordpress.com/2011/07/22/a-bittersweet-week-for-our-space-program/.) I’ve tried updating the DNS per the support instructions, but it’s all to no avail. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance.

Hi. Did you set chrisqueen.net as your primary domain?
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/register-domain/ (step 5)
This should solve the problem of your .net address being automatically converted into a .wordpress.com address. -
OK, thanks, It works in Internet Explorer, but in Chrome (which is what I use primarily), I get the following error:
This webpage has a redirect loop
The webpage at http://chrisqueen.wordpress.com/ has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer. Is that fixable?
