domain mapping is not working, unable to resolve DNS
-
I have a domain mapping issue too, it seems that n1.wordpress.com/n2.wordpress.com which set in the settings of my domain at registrar df.eu is not forwarding to wordpress-blog. the domain I already use longer is mindcore.ch.
I updated all settings of wordpress.com, also with my Exchange Online config which is also not handled by wordpress.com.
I have screenshots of the entries, any suggests and how2 to upload screenshots to this thread?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Upload the screen shots to your media library or other file sharing service and put the links here – if you just want the staff to help you don’t need to post the links, just a note that the screen shots are uploaded (they can look at your library) and type “modlook” (w/o quotes) for a tag
-
I went ahead and flagged this for the staff – the name servers for mindcore.ch do not appear to be pointing to WordPress.COM – you might need the staff to add a zone record for the name server changes to work

thank auxclass for your quick response type “modlook”, perhaps you or other find the issue:
name-entries at the registrar, everything else I cleared out:

Hi there,
You will need to set these name servers for your domain:
- NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
You can use either two of those name servers, or all three. Those are different from the name servers you entered before (please note the “s” in the beginning, so NS1 instead of N1).
If you have any trouble setting those name servers for your domain, your domain registrar can help with that process. :)

Hi Rachel,
yes, the s was missing, thx for that.
on the other hand, on my GUI I have to write in small letters, big letters brought up: hostname is not guilty.
thx cyrus -
Hi Cyrus,
It’s fine to write the name servers in small (lowercase) letters. Either way will work. :)
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help!
