Domain Mapping Issue

  Hello,

  My blog is http://www.renewny.wordpress.com. I just purchased a new domain, http://www.renewny.net.

  I purchased the domain, and then went to setting and selected it as my main domain name, YET this new domain is not registering in the search bar. In other words, I went to google and typed in renewny.net in the URL bar and nothing came up.

  Did I do something wrong?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Nevermind. The issue cleared up. When I type renewny.net into the search my site comes up.

  Is there anything else I need to do?

  It can take 24 to 72 hours for Domain Mapping changes to be distributed across the internet. Changes usually start much sooner but you can have local caching issues that can be confusing and erratic for a while.

  Your site resolved to the new domain fine for me.

  Thanks for the heads up. It came up for me now, but I also noticed that when I google search and a search result comes up, it still is to the old domain with the .wordpress.com attached. I guess that takes time.
