Domain Mapping issue

    Hello, just a (hopefully) quick domain mapping question.

    I spent several hours tonight building the beginnings of a website at quadtownforum.wordpress.com. I went to map the domain http://www.forumnews.ca to my WordPress site, and it also appears I completed the process successfully as my previous blog URL now redirects to forumnews.ca.

    Why then, when I type in either URL, am I not seeing the site that I spent all that time building tonight? Is it just a matter of time before it shows up? Or did I make a mistake in the process? All I believed I had to do was change the nameserver settings with my domain registrar and all would be well. However, now my blog is redirecting to a “coming soon” style page instead of the other way around.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Hi Brad,

    Your domain is mapped correctly and it’s working for me here: http://forumnews.ca/

    When you change a domain’s name servers, it can take up to 72 hours for that change to propagate around the world. If you don’t see your site when you visit your domain, please give it a little time and it will start working for you.

    Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
