Domain Mapping – issue
-
Hi,
I am trying to map a domain I own to my new WordPress. It is showandtell.ie and when I enter it here it says it is not registered.
The domain provider has pointed it to WordPress as described in ‘How to Map a Domain’.
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello,
I have the same problem, trying to map cabanya-boscana.cat to cabanyaboscana.wordpress.com. Everithing seems fine in the registrar side.
Auxclass said in another post that some TLD (top level domains, i.e. .cat in my case, or .ie in yours) have issues and help from the staff is needed.
Auxclass or someone with the permissions to do so, could you please flag this thread also for the staff to help?Thank you,

Hi marioashley,
Me, yes, three times :-)
I have tried it with and without changing the DNS to the worpress.com ones, and always says “Sorry but cabanya-boscana.cat has not been registered yet therefore cannot be mapped.”
I made also some whois lookups and the domain appears as registered (and with the dns servers from my registrar or from wordpress depending on how I set it).Thank you

Hi,
I have the same issue. I’m trying to map ohjes.fi to ohjes.com. The response is the same as above, “Sorry but ohjes.fi has not been registered yet therefore cannot be mapped.” According to whois the domain appears to be ok. Could someone help with this issue?
Thank you,

@showandtelldublin
@viularoma
@vellutaskilaI have – or will be – sending you individual emails to follow up and help you get your mappings set up.
If you don’t receive them, please post back here.

I’ve received an email with a link asking me to pay to manualpayments.worpress.com, where there is only the option to pay by credit card. I am not sure this is what you mean, just afraid not to be caught on a phishing campaign.

That’s one of the emails that was sent from us, yes. It is legitimate.
I also sent you another with instructions. Trying looking through your spam or doing a global search in your email for wordpress.com and see if you can find it.

Ok, everithing is fine now, the domain seems to work perfectly and point to the wordpress site. I’ve already payed so I think everithing is ok.thanks
