domain mapping issue.

the website i need help with is http://www.johnofthedead.com
a few days ago i noticed the domain mapping issue when i was trying to add some new posts to my site. i purchased this domain from wordpress.com about 5 years ago and after spending a few days trying to figure out what happened i think it might have expired. i rarely get on my johnofthedead.wordpress.com dashboard as i no longer use this site and use http://www.johnofthedead.com, which i paid to have my posts transferred to wordpress.org so i could self-host. so i probably missed the notification to renew. i do not see an option to renew my domain on my johnofthedead.wordpress.com dashboard. when i look up http://www.johnofthedead.com it says it is already taken and if i purchased it elsewhere i can pay to map it. i purchased it here though, not elsewhere so i am unsure of what to do to renew my domain. please help with this. i cannot even go into my johnofthedead.com dashboard.
