Domain mapping issue

  Hello,
  I purchased the domain mapping from WordPress. I’ve made the name server changes at my domain registrar but I am still seeing the old site. Is there something I’m missing that I’m not doing?

  Hi there,

  It can take a few hours for your domain name servers (DNS) to update fully:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/#3-wait-for-the-magic

  You will also likely need to clear your browser’s cache:

  Hi hertwoscents,

  I’ve checked maxinehyndman.com and the domain is now pointing to WordPress.com. Name server changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate so that’s likely to be the reason your domain wasn’t behaving as expected.

  If you still aren’t seeing your WordPress.com site, please follow @catkiinson’s recommendation of clearing your browser cache:

  Browsers can cache the old the name servers but this should help flush that information out.
