Domain Mapping Issue

  Hello. I have a travel blog and my primary domain is alltheplacesshegoes.com, but whenever I go to my site, it says;

  Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.

  I have purchased my site url, so why is this happening? Please help me understand because I cannot reach the Domains Upgrades page as well.

  Hey shreyalakshmi23,

  It seems you were using domain mapping earlier and it expired. I added the “modlook” tag to this thread.

  The domain mapping upgrade for alltheplacesshegoes.com expired back in January this year.

  I have purchased my site url, so why is this happening?

  The domain is still active but the mapping upgrade that connects it to alltheplacesshegoes.wordpress.com is not — the error message is being caused by the fact the name servers are still pointing to WordPress.com but there is no mapping in place on our end.

  You’ll need to purchase domain mapping if you wish to continue using the domain for alltheplacesshegoes.wordpress.com. It is now a feature of paid plans, so select a plan first and then choose the mapping option.
