Domain mapping major hiccough
-
Hi, I have a WordPress blog and have just purchased the actual domain name through GoDaddy so I could get rid of “wordpress” in the URL. I followed the instructions for mapping and paid the extra to do this, clicked ‘Put Blog Here’ and it would appear it is TRYING to map, but I am unable to bring up the site.
When I try to access it a page comes up with this “Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://www.thebluepointofview.com”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page”.
The original was thebluepointofview.wordpress.com and it is now supposedly mapping to thebluepointofview.com as shown in my control panel under ‘Function’ and denotes “Your blog URL”.
I changed the domain server names in GoDaddy to ns1.wordpress.com ns2.wordpress.com ns3.wordpress.com. No IP addresses were required.
Any ideas? Or, HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much. -
