Domain mapping – nameserver policy loop

Hi,
I’ve tied to add a domain to my wordpress account but when I try to add it I get the message that my domain doesn’t have wordpress nameservers (ns1/2/3.wordpress.com). However, when I try to add wordpress nameservers to my domain with I get an error message saying that the wordpress nameservers are not configured to respond to my domain (sfpa.no). How do I resolve this policy loop??

You probably need a zone record, please contact the staff to add it: http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
They will need the name of the blog you want to map to and the domain name you will be using.

Hm, ok…thanks for your reply! Unfortunately the contact form has been closed for the weekend due to some upgrades or something so I’ll have to wait until monday. Do you know if they have an email address+ :)

The staff is a bit backed up right now here is an email address: support@wordpress.com
I have also marked this for staff attention and they do watch the forums when the contact form is closed. They are not taking a day off but working to get caught up.

If wordpress staff happen to check in on this post: The domain in question is sfpa.no registered with Norid in Norway. I have just been informed by them to tell you the following:
Norid (registry for .no) requires that each name server must return a list of NS-records identical to the list of name servers which you have provided. In this case, the name servers ns[1-3].wordpress.com does not return any NS-records for the domain sfpa.no.

I have manually added a zone record for your domain.
