Domain mapping no longer working

    The domain mapping for boscouganda.com on WordPress is no longer mapped and I cannot re-map it for some reason. When going to our domain, we get this message, “Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.”

    However, when logging in to WP admin, we cannot re-map the domain boscouganda.com the website is hosted on Dreamhost.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Our records show that boscouganda.com expired on 2016-04-18.

    Domain expiration is a lengthy and complicated process that takes about 80 days. During this time, your domain may be put up for auction or sold on back-order.

Please note that someone else may purchase the domain first, in which case you will be unable to register it again.

    rootjosh how do I go about renewing this domain? The WhoIs states that this was not set to expire until April of 2017.

    The most recent payment for registration was made on 2015-04-18 .

    I can help you renew the domain, I will need to send you a manual payment request.

    HOWEVER, the issue is that the user account that you are posting from is not the owner of that domain upgrade.

    Typically this happens because you ended up with a second WordPress.com user account at some point and THAT account is the one that was used to purchase the upgrade. You will need to log into that second account in order to renew the upgrade.
