Domain Mapping Not Working

  hello,

  I recently decided to move from using Wix.com to WordPress.com.

  I had a domain with Wix so I transferred it to GoDaddy. After doing this I upgraded my wordpress for domain mapping. I changed my DNS Servers with my domain on GoDaddy, then I mapped the domain (katjwilson.com) to my wordpress.com website.

  Here’s my problem, when I go to katjwilson.com it sends me to my Wix website, not my WordPress website. I’m new to WordPress so I’m not sure if I’ve just made a simple mistake. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

  Hey,

  DNS settings seem to be just fine — name servers are correctly assigned and I can also access your blog.

  DNS changes are often not instant, it can take anywhere from an hour to 72 hours for changes to be reflected all over the globe, so perhaps that’s why you were experiencing issues at that time.

  The blog is private, though, so obviously I can’t see its contents, but the private blog message is being shown.

  If you’re still not able to connect, please give it some time.

  Oh I didn’t realize it was private. Is that just a setting?

  I found the setting and changed it from private. Must have clicked that at some point and forgot!
