Domain mapping not working

  Hi!

  I’ve updated the name servers for mullikka.fi to point to WordPress name servers but yet I cannot map the domain. I already have a premium plan purchased.

  Could somebody please help me out?

  Hello kirpooo!

  That can be related to your domain extension. Did you try to follow the instructions here https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/#1-add-domain-mapping?

  Is it showing any error message when you try?

  Same problem. The domain ‘Map It’ button brings up a blank page. Any workarounds?

  Hi Carina,

  And many thanks for your quick reply!

  The error message that I get is simply “Sorry but mullikka.fi has not been registered yet therefore cannot be mapped.”

  The domain is an old one and my service provider has mage the DNS transfer and when I look up the DNS, it points to WordPress name servers already.

  Yeah, this issue is related to the domain extension. I’ve added the domain mapping in your account. It’s working already, you can access your site at “mullikka.fi”. :)
