Domain Mapping Not Working

  Hello,

  I am trying to redirect my domain so that when I type in http://www.inlightprod.com it goes to my wordpress blog: wordpress.inlightprod.com.

  I followed these directions and bought the upgrade; is this not what I
  need to do? http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

  Instead of my domain showing the wordpress site, now what happens is
  when I type in my wordpress domain name it does redirect to
  inlightprod.com domain BUT only shows what was previously hosted there
  and not my blog site.

  As we responded to you via support, you need to have your nameservers set to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM, NS2.WORDPRESS.COM and NS3.WORDPRESS.COM and then be patient; the DNS changes can take up to 72 hours to propagate fully.

  Is it normal for the changes to work temporarily, and then return to redirecting to the old website instead of the wordpress site? This happened this evening. I was pretty excited that the site, inlightprod.com, was redirecting to the inlightprod.wordpress.com content, but within a few minutes, it went back to the old content at inlightprod.com.

  Is this normal?

  Yes, it can jump around a bit. If it’s still doing that in the morning, report it to staff directly via your Dashboard Help section.
