Domain Mapping not working after 4 days of flagging it- Is it normal?

I have flagged this issue on this forum on friday, as well as contacted support on saturday, then again earlier this week. See related forum topic below.
This is the first time I flag an issue to WordPress and I have no idea if this length of time is usual or my message got lost?https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/mx-record-4?replies=3#post-1456857
I had to reverse my DNS setting this morning so I now have my mail working again. I am not sure yet for the website, does not work from either my phone of my PC…Ideally, I want this mapping to work and wordpress name servers to be used.
Any help/advise would be appreciated. I think staff has to be invovled as “auxclass” member has already implied on the other forum topic…

Automattic staff are attending their grand meetup and are most likely not addressing the requests as quickly as normal. The meetup started on Thursday and lasts a week, so hopefully you will hear from them later this week if not sooner.
I apologize for the problems you are facing, but if you are patient for a bit longer, the staff will definitely address your issue.

Thanks!I sorted it all…Deleted the mapping, got the refund from wordpress, and re-did it.
I realised I had entered wwww.thefrenchplace.co.uk instead of thefrenchplace.co.uk
It seems to work now…am closing this. -
