Domain Mapping not working on transferred Premium Upgrade.
-
Hi there.
I purchased the $99 Premium upgrade for one of my blogs – claresangels.wordpress.com. I decided to host that one myself and so transferred the upgrade to oeciwp.com.au instead of mucking about with a refund etc.
Now that I am ready to switch the site live to it’s own domain, it is asking me to pay for the Domain Mapping again. Should I be able to do that already as part of the Premium Upgrade?
Cheers.
Michael

Whoops.
The site I transferred the Premium Upgrade to is oeciwp.wordpress.com, and that’s the blog I need help with.
My bad.

I see that claresangels.com.au is mapped to your oeciwp.wordpress.com blog. Is this what you wanted?
-
Um no – that was for another website, which I decided to host as a wordpress.org site myself.
Didn’t realise that was still active. When I look at My Domains from claresangels.wordpress.com, I don’t see any option to chose the other TLD.
From My Upgrades, all I see is the transferred Premium upgrade for oeciwp.wordpress.com, and a Domain upgrade for michaelquinn.wordpress.com
I would like to map the domain oeci.org.au to oeciwp.wordpress.com – that’s the main reason for the Premium upgrade on that account.

I’ve just changed the domain mapping for you. oeci.org.au is now mapped to oeciwp.wordpress.com. You can now follow the instructions at https://oeciwp.wordpress.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=domains&action=updatenameservers&domain=oeci.org.au
Please let us know if you need any further assistance!

Thanks very much.
Looks like it’s sorted – just need to get the client to sort out their end now.
You rock.
