domain mapping price?

So im trying to map my domain to my wordpress so that when anyone goes to milkykou.com or milkykou.wordpress.com it loads up in the url as milkykou.com and shows the posting i make on wordpress however it keeps saying that the price is 36$ when im about to make payment when its supposed to be 13. is this an error?

Yes thats correct then it asks me to pay 36 then another monthly charge afterwards, i havent finished since i dont need anything besides mapping 1 domain is all.

Domains are no longer available for purchase or mapping individually. They are included with any of the WordPress.com plans. This change has been made as we work to offer the best combination of value and performance for users while still offering a completely free product for those who do not wish to purchase any upgrades.
A great way to go if you are not interested in WordPress.com Premium is to look into setting up a self-hosted WordPress.org site through a hosting provider such as Bluehost, GoDaddy, or Pressable.

In general, in order to use a custom domain (buy or map) here on WordPressdotcom , it requires purchasing one of the upgrade plans. You can see the pricing here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/ or here https://wordpress.com/plans when you are logged in. If you scroll down, that one gives a bit more information.
Plans are paid annually and need to be renewed annually. If you are mapping a domain, this needs to be done in addition to renewing your domain with your registrar.
