Domain Mapping Problem

I originally created my blog using the free WordPress option (willxiv.wordpress.com).

I later upgraded and paid for a domain (willxiv.com).

If I look at UPGRADES > DOMAINS (or SETTINGS > DOMAINS), both domains are listed, and “willxiv.com” is selected as my primary domain. This is desirable.

Under DASHBOARD > MY BLOGS, only willxiv.wordpress.com is listed, and it’s selected as my primary domain. This is undesirable.

Under USERS > PERSONAL SETTINGS, the only primary blog available in the drop-down box is “willxiv.wordpress.com,” and this is also undesirable.

Is willxiv.com mapped incorrectly to willxiv.wordpress.com?

I log in to the Domain Manager, and I notice the nameservers are listed as:

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM

I click on Set Nameservers and I get presented by the following:

    —————————————————————
If you are hosting your Web site with us (you have a hosting account with us associated with this domain) or you want to Park or Forward your domain, we will automatically set your nameservers for you.

[ ] I want to park my domains.
[x] I have a hosting account with these domains.
[ ] I have specific nameservers for my domains.
    —————————————————————

I feel an instinctual nervousness messing around with these settings.

What can I do to fix the undesirable problems above?

Ah – and I just noticed the emailed receipt says the following:

Item: Domain Registration – willxiv.com mapped to http://willxiv.wordpress.com

How can I get this fixed?

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

I am confused – however I click on your name and end up at http://willxiv.com/ that has Test Post 1 as the only Post – things seem to be working fine to me – I would not change anything – some of the things your mention above are just the way things work.
