Domain mapping problem

I am trying to map lpstelsiubociai.lt
I did all the instructions in the page, but nothing change. Still: “Sorry but lpstelsiubociai.lt has not been registered yet therefore cannot be mapped.”

I think I have the same problem, I’m trying to map a .fi domain but I only get the error about ohjes.fi not being registered.

hello I’m trying to map my domain: roisinandbrian.ie and keep on getting an error. I’ve checked with my domain company twice and they’ve assured me the issue is on the WordPress side.

Can somebody please help me?

staff-ozmodiar, I have the same problem with .hu domain and wordpress.com. I bought a .hu domain a week ago and tried to change the name servers. My domain provider says, there is technical error with wordpress ns1 and ns2. WP nameservers not serving the name before payment, domain check fails, and I can’t “map” it. Please help, thank you.

Hello everyone, apologies for the delay. Staff was away on an all-company meeting and the travel days tend to slow us down a bit.

But let’s get everyone sorted out.

@secuam @lpstelsiubociai @vellutaskila @roisinandbrian @pezsdesign

I’d like to try something to see if it will speed things up for us all. If you can map any domain to your site, then post here with the real domain you’d like to map, I can make the switch. This will save us some emailing back and forth and allow you to use the regular payment system instead of the manual billing I’ve been using.

Just find a .com/net/org etc domain that the system will let you map. Once you’ve done that, post here and let me know that you were successful and what the real domain you’d like to have mapped is.

If that doesn’t work, we’ll go back to the long way and get everything set up that way. Just hoping to speed this up a bit.

And my apologies for this hassle. It is something that is out of our hands, but that doesn’t mean you all should have to deal with it. So I’ll do my best to get you all set up and blogging as quickly as possible.

I’ve tried to map other domains. .ie , .com , co.uk etc etc

But I keep getting the same error message:

Sorry but blahblah.ie has not been registered yet therefore cannot be mapped.

Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated.

I’m having the same problem with my domain recreart.cat. I own it for a week, changed nameservers but i can’t buy mapping with the same error message “not registered yet”

staff-ozmodiar same problem here. We want to map emmb.banyoles.cat to emmbanyoles.wordpress.com. As you’ve said us we have successfuly paid the mapping to ajbanyoles.org.

Can you make the switch from ajbanyoles.org to emmb.banyoles.cat please?

I have map this domain http://www.lpstelsiubociai.tk/ to my site, but not from the wordpress upgrades and it works at once as I have registered this domain.
And I can map this domain with wordpress. So, I have to map and pay for this domain (lpstelsiubociai.tk) and then You will switch this domain to mine original and registered lpstelsiubociai.lt? Am I right?

To map another domain with .com/org/net etc, I have to buy it, I think.
If it’s not necessary, I don’t want to pay twice for a domain (and I use only the original .hu)
Can you please help me, without buying another domain?

hello staff-ozmodiar I have the same problem, my wordpress site is wordpress.ektevaredagligvare.com and my domain is ektevaredagligvare.no
but when i try to map it and pay for it it just says it is not registered. I posted another thread about this but never got a reply :(

Hello, I have the same problem trying to create a new wordpress site with an existing domain. I see I need to beg for some special help from staff-ozmodiar…? I’ve asked before the same thing in the forum, no answer until now…And I see many people reporting the same problem here. So I think there is a WordPress problem they should solve.

@ektevaredagligvare – Could you try to purchase a mapping for ektevaredagligvare.COM (not .no) and when it is done, let me know back here and I will change it to the correct one for you.
