Domain mapping problem

I just upgraded to domain mapping yesterday. In my domain Control Menu…
Domain Function Created Expires Email (Help)
30-fps.com Your blog URL January 16, 2009 January 16, 2010 (Renew) Enable Google MX
30fpsdigitalvideo.wordpress.com Redirecting to 30-fps.com (Put blog here) October 5, 2008 Never N/AWhen I try to open my wordpress blog it sends me to 30-fps.com. I emailed support, somebody said to wait 2 days before I can see changes. But after a few hours…it became like this….
Domain Function Created Expires Email (Help)
30fpsdigitalvideo.wordpress.com Your blog URL January 16, 2009 January 16, 2010 (Renew) Enable Google MX
30-fps.com Redirecting to 30fpsdigitalvideo.wordpress.com(Put blog here) October 5, 2008 Never N/AAnd then I was able to view my wordpress blog even if 30-fps.com doesn’t redirect to 30fpsdigitalvideo.wordpress.com. I went to sleep with my wordpress blog working.
This morning, I opened my wordpress blog again and I saw this again….
Domain Function Created Expires Email (Help)
30-fps.com Your blog URL January 16, 2009 January 16, 2010 (Renew) Enable Google MX
30fpsdigitalvideo.wordpress.com Redirecting to 30-fps.com (Put blog here) October 5, 2008 Never N/ANow, my wordpress blog can’t be seen again. When I type my wordpress blog it directs me to 30-fps.com. Now I’m really confused because support seems to be confused also. Can somebody please tell me what is suppose to be my blog URL? In my understanding it’s my wordpress blog. My domain, which is 30-fps.com is where they should be redirecting to 30fpsdigitalvideo.wordpress.com (Put blog here)….
Well, it’s only been 24 hours maybe I’ll see my wordpress blog tom.

It looks like you’ve set your wordpress.com url to point to your new url. This is what most people want when they pay for domain mapping.
If you really want your other url to point back to the wordpress.com url, then I think you have to change something around. Check the FAQ. But before you do, think about why you are doing this. Normally the reason for domain mapping is to create a url that is distinct from wordpress.com. This gives a more professional appearance to the blog and may also be a useful step if you ever decide to start hosting your own blog. The shorter url is easier for visitors to remember, too. Do you have a reason for wanting the blog url to always appear with wordpress in it.

I read that for my to get rid of the wordpress.com in my blog is to the domain mapping upgrade. I don’t want to point my URL back to wordpress.com. I want my blog to be seen when people type 30-fps.com. Can I switch this on my own or does the support team of wordpress control this?

I want my blog to be seen when people type 30-fps.com.
That is what happens at the moment. Try it.

Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies. I definitely see a WP.com blog when I put your url in.

Thanks Rosclarke! :) I’ll try again. But I guess if you can see it, I’ll eventually see it also. I usually have this problem when I would update my old site. I guess it’s happening here also.
