Domain mapping problem.
-
I’ve problem with domain mapping, I follow instructions from here https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/.
When I try to map my own domain, it says “Sorry but noppakivet.fi has not been registered yet therefore cannot be mapped.”.
Do I need to change nameserver before of after domain mapping? Instructions says that first step is map your domain and second is change nameservers.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

According to WordPress.com staff in a related forum thread, they need to manually add some domain names with country extensions. That may be the case with your domain so I’ve tagged this for staff’s attention.

Hi there,
I have added a zone record for your domain. Can you please try mapping it again? If it still won’t work, let me know and I can try to add it manually. Thanks :)

Still says “Sorry but noppakivet.fi has not been registered yet therefore cannot be mapped.”.

Do you want to use the free domain credit in your Premium Plan to map this domain, or do you want to pay for the mapping upgrade separately?

Okay, I have added that mapping to your Premium Plan for you, and have updated your primary domain, so your site is appearing at that domain now.
Let me know if I can help with anything else.

Okay, I’ve really screwed up!
In attempting to map my blog URL to a domain I own, I now get nothing and would just like to revert back to what it was originally. The blog address is: deacondarrell.com, but it’s still pointing to the parked domain I own (at Easy Domains) of: darrellbharrison.com. I’d really like to get help with pointing it back to deacondarrell.com, please.
My SINCERE thanks in advance,
Darrell Harrison

As a follow-up to the above post, I’ve since upgraded to a Premium package with the custom domain of: justthinking.me. However, it is still pointing to darrellbharrison.com, which is where I do not want it to point to. I would like it to point to justthinking.me.
Thank you, very much, for your help!
Darrell

Hi there,
n attempting to map my blog URL to a domain I own, I now get nothing and would just like to revert back to what it was originally. The blog address is: deacondarrell.com, but it’s still pointing to the parked domain I own (at Easy Domains) of: darrellbharrison.com
darrellbharrison.com is now pointing to your WordPress.com site. I think for a short while you were seeing the domain still pointing to Easy domains because it takes a bit for the domain to propagate throughout the internet. It’s good to go now!
However, it is still pointing to darrellbharrison.com, which is where I do not want it to point to. I would like it to point to justthinking.me.
Since posting this, I see that you were also able to make justthinking.me your primary domain, Great!
Did you have any other questions or issues? Let me know, and I’d be glad to assist you.
Thanks!
