Domain mapping problems
-
Oh dear.
What I ultimately wanted to do was to have the main page of my website be my blog, and to be able to link out to other existing pages (mooreclick.com/wedding.html for example). I’m unable to install WordPress on my hosting account right now, because I apparently need to upgrade that, but wanted to get the redirect and everything working.
So I just changed the name servers so it’d redirect to mooreclick.com. Which worked totally fine, but I realized I could no longer direct people to existing pages (like /pet.html or /wedding.html to look at existing galleries).
Which makes me think that I need to set it up as a subdomain. I’m not 100% sure how to do this. I added a new CNAME (under DNS control) for blog.mooreclick.com, which no longer says “pending”, but I’m still not able to add that through WordPress. Do I need to take out the mooreclick.com domain to add this one? How would I do that? Of course, support is down until September 7th.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

mooreclick.com does not appear to be hosted on wordpress.com

I’m afraid you will not find much help in this forum.
