domain mapping proplem – #851986 continued

  Thank you for your response. I have carried out the domain mapping and upgrade as per your instructions. However, when I try to logout I get the following response:
  You attempted to reach donnamcgee.ie, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as *.wordpress.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious. An attacker on your network could be trying to get you to visit a fake (and potentially harmful) version of donnamcgee.ie. You should not proceed.
  Then if I google donnamcgee, I get the following response:
  This webpage has a redirect loop
  The webpage at http://donnamcgee.wordpress.com/ has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.
  Here are some suggestions:

  Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS): There were too many redirects.

  Please help as I do not know how to proceed. Thank you

  Both the blog linked to your name and the URL in the Post load fine to a mapped domain for me – it can take 24 to 72 hours for changes to migrate to the far corners of the internet – because of local caching issues with your ISP and other routers you will probably be the last person to see the changes
