Domain Mapping Purchase

    Hi!

    Recently I bought a domain and I would like to add it to a wordpress blog. However, when I tried to buy a Domain Mapping, for some reason a error message appears.

    I think everything is okay with the credit card, as I checked several times the solicited data. Already followed the instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/#instructions-for-mapping-an-existing-domain , but I can’t pass Step 2 (can’t purchase the mapping).

    What is the domain name you want to map?

    You might need a zone record added for the mapping to work

    The domain is http://www.centraldepremios.com.br

    I added DNS Zone but I’m still not able to buy the domain mapping…

    Yes, something like this (I’m translating from portuguese):

    “The operation can not be completed successfully. Please check your billing address and expiration date or try another card. Please contact your bank if you have more problems.”

    Maybe the problem is the card? I checked all data several times, but I’m still not able to buy the domain mapping (it is the same card I bought the domain, though, and no problems there, but I don’t know if WordPress have some restriction regarding Mastercard).

    PayPal handles the finance part – if you used the card once before then you are not living in a country that has a card scam problem – (Nigeria for instance is a country that is not accepted)

    Based on what I have seen in the forum the staff will ask you to check with the bank or card for a problem of some sort – some cards have anti fraud filters that can give you problems with foreign purchases for instance

    I will leave the flag for the staff in place in case they have more info for you

    I tried with Paypal, but I got this message:

    “This transaction couldn’t be completed. Please redirect your customer to PayPal.”

    I’m gonna try to contact my bank to see if anything can be done regarding this problem.

    Hi there – auxclass gave you some great advice – let us know how it goes with your bank.

    Here are the three different types of errors your transactions triggered, in case it helps:

    10486: This transaction couldn’t be completed.

    10417: Transaction cannot complete. Retry the transaction using an alternative payment method from your PayPal wallet. The transaction did not complete with the your selected payment method.

    15005: Processor Decline – the transaction was declined by the issuing bank, not by PayPal. Retry checkout with a different card.

    I have paid for mapping and want to cancel but I don’t receive any email from you how can I cancel 2013/08/09 13:09 [transaction number removed] $99.00 ???
