Domain Mapping Quirk

  Greetings all,

  I have plenty of experience mapping domains using WordPress and have never had a problem (including the one I did just a couple of weeks back) but my brother-in-law was wanting to map a domain to his free account (as I have always done) and was met with a required plan upgrade. Is this a new requirement? If so, then why can I still map domains for $13 on a free account (I just tested this and I can do it just fine). Any help in clarifying would be awesome.

  Hi there.

  Yes. Currently you need an upgraded plan to map a domain. All the types of plan (Personal, Premium and Business) allow you to do that.
