domain mapping removal
-
Hey all,
I can’t seem to find an answer anywhere or instructions, so I thought I’d post here.
I currently have two domains mapped to this account — I would like to use the connect one with a new wordpress account/for a new website we want to build. How do I unmap or transfer a domain from one account to another?
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Log in to your WordPress.com account and go to https://wordpress.com/me/purchases to cancel what you no longer want.
You can also find refund policy here:
if you still face any issue let us know :)I am adding a modlook tag for staff intervention.
They are the one who can provide you with an exact solution. Thanks !!!

Hi there,
Let us know the domain and we’ll unmap it for you. Then contact us from your other account and we’ll map it to the site you’ll indicate us (provided you have a plan for that site).

Hi there,
Thank you for the reply. Please unmap connect4health.org.au and let me know who/how to contact staff so I can get it remapped to the new account.
Many, many thanks!

Hi there,
You are already in contact with staff – both @fstat and I are members of staff. However, your Business Plan also gives you access to 24/7 live chat support via the help icon that appears bottom-right if you go to the My Site page.
Please confirm to which site in which account you’d like the mapping moved. If you haven’t created the new account and site yet, please do that first:
Log out of your account and go to https://wordpress.com/start/site/. On the Domain step only pick a free WordPress.com/.blog subdomain, and do not try mapping your domain. Once you’ve completed the process and bought a plan for the new site, comment here as that account, and let us know the free address.

I have successfully moved your domain mapping to your new site.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you. I’m happy to help.
