    i just updated my domain mapping and it only gave me 10 months instead of 1 year. the previous mapping expired in march, so i havent had it for 2 months. So why did i get charged for 12 months of service when I will only use the service for 10 months. How can I get a refund of the difference?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    additional info for my query, from wordpress.com
    “You’ve already come to know and love the free features of WordPress.com. But we also offer some nifty premium features that allow you to really take advantage of your WordPress.com experience, available for purchase from our Store. With the exception of the Guided Transfer, all upgrades are per year and per blog.

    Domain Mapping and Domain Registration
    Take the ‘wordpress’ out of your blog’s URL by registering a custom domain for your blog, or adding one you already own. Add a domain from Store -> Domains to purchase. This upgrade starts at $13.00 per domain, per blog, per year.”

    year=12 months

    Upgrades are renewed 30 days before they expire when set to auto renew – so if something goes wrong there is time to fix what ever did not work before something breaks

    You get your 12 months – look at the Good until date – that will show a year from the old date
