Domain Mapping & Search Engines

  When you map your blog with a custom domain, does the new URL come up in search engines as well ? For instance, I have an article in http://myblog.wordpress.com/page1 . Will it show up just like that, or in the http://www.myblog.com form ? Also, who uses here non US domains?
